Before you consult with Snips, we recommend that you contact your insurance provider to verify what cover you have and what paperwork they require you to submit for reimbursement. All insurance providers cover from 50% - 100% of all wigs for chemotherapy and alopecia clients. Please note that some providers refer to wigs as appliances on their forms.
If you are going through your private insurance to purchase a wig from Snips, we will issue you a receipt and with this receipt you submit this to claim for reimbursement. Your provider will reimburse you directly.
